My name is Jan Janisch-Hanzlik, and multiple sclerosis has been part of my life for longer than I ever expected it to be. Like most people with MS, my diagnosis didn’t arrive with a neat explanation — it arrived with questions, fatigue, and a healthcare system that speaks in acronyms. I built MS with Moxie because I wished someone had handed me a place like this on day one.
Think of this not as buying a bracelet, but giving a donation. That's the whole philosophy of this page, really \u2014 small acts, done with heart, add up.
A few years into my journey, I was offered something almost no one with MS had ever been offered before: the chance to become the first person in the world to undergo CAR‑T cell therapy for multiple sclerosis. I said yes — partly out of hope for myself, and partly because I knew that whatever I learned, I could pass along to the next person staring down a scary diagnosis.
To make sure no one with MS has to figure this out alone \u2014 and to help push MS treatment into the future, one honest story at a time.
